2 PACK TOILET PAPER RESTRICTIONS NOW IN AFFECT – WOOLWORTHS

Wollworths have said in statement on their Facebook Page that a 2 pack per customer restrictions is now in affect in store and online, in a bid to stop the madness and to ensure more people have access to essential toilet paper.

The statement from Wollworths Below.

We’d like to update you on the shortages we’re seeing in toilet paper. To ensure more customers are able to purchase what they need, we now have a two-pack per transaction limit on toilet paper, both in-store and online.

The two-pack limit has been set to ensure more customers can access what they need during increased demand. Placing a limit of two will also ensure those who require more than the average quantity of toilet rolls, such as large families, care facilities or child care centres, for example, can still purchase the number of toilet rolls they may immediately require.

We’re working closely with our suppliers to get products onto shelves as quickly as we can. The makers of Kleenex, Sorbent, Quilton and Woolworths own range of toilet paper are continuing to produce extra stock in Australian facilities to meet the demand. As a result, large volumes of toilet paper supply are flowing through daily to our stores nationwide.

With this ongoing stock delivery, we encourage customers to continue purchasing only what they require. It’s worth noting that the vast majority of products aren’t affected and there aren’t significant shortages in most stores and online.
