20 people have self evacuated from a paint factory in Newcastle, that has gone up in flames with one person being treated for smoke inhalation.
The large paint storage facility located on Parker St Carrington is 100m x 50m is on fire. Firefighters are inside the building working to stop the fire spreading to other parts of the building.
FRNSW hazardous material experts are in attendance monitoring FF water run off and smoke plume.
