Over the weekend someone with a half a brain decided it was a good idea to tear up the soccer fields at Lambton by driving their vehicle erratically on the soccer fields.
MP Sonya Hornery is angry over the situation as groundskeepers have put in a lot of work over summer to keep the soccer fields in great condition, just to have some idiot tear up the fields.
Another despicable act of vandalism over the weekend. On Friday night or early Saturday morning, someone felt the need to drive their car across the fields at Novocastrian Park at New Lambton, ruining all the great work put into the ground over summer by the New Lambton Football Club.

Thankfully, the New Lambton football family banded together and around 25 people spent a few hours spreading dirt and rolling the areas affected on Sunday to try and get the ground repaired and ready to play on.
