Breaking News: Telstra to Upgrade Millfield Mobile Base Station for Enhanced 4G and 5G Experience
Telstra has announced a major upgrade to the Millfield mobile base station, aiming to enhance the 4G user experience and prepare the community for 5G connectivity. The infrastructure addition is set to bring significant improvements.
However, residents should be prepared for temporary outages and reduced mobile coverage during the upgrade process. A complete site outage is scheduled from Friday, February 9, until 5 pm on Monday, February 12. During this period, mobile network coverage will be unavailable. Subsequently, smaller sector-by-sector disruptions will occur until Friday, February 16, with network coverage being restored daily at 5 pm.
