As Centrelink expands its online services it’s also decreasing the number of offices it has around the country in a bid to cut costs stating that offices are expensive to rent.
Both Mayfield and King St offices will be shutdown under this radical plan by the Morrison Government
The only problem with online services are those who find them in real hardship may not have access to a phone or to secure internet services.
The member for Newcastle has created a petition to keep both sites running.
