Fire Crews were called to an early morning house fire on Alkira ave Cessnock this morning. Firefighters arrived to the house that was fully engulfed in flames, the house was fully furnished but Fire fighters quickly established that no one was home at the time.
Firefighter have been to this address in the past for a backyard rubbish fire.
Firefighters put the fire out and were left very cold and wet after the huge efforts to bring the fire under control.
The cause of the fire is unkown at this stage.
