Community mourns the loss of Scott Parrott

It was a crime that shook the Hunter, Scott Parrott murdered in broad daylight at Beresfield Train Station in full view of CCTV.

His alleged Killer Matthew Breckenbridge had no remorse as he fled the scene hiding in a nearby coal train, leaving his victim to die.

A young man James Hinton came to his aide, but unfortunately Scott could not be revived. Emergency services pronounced Scott dead shortly after arriving.

People around the Hunter have paid their tributes to Scott Parrott who was murdered at Beresfield Train Station on Monday night.

Scott was described by the Wyong Neighborhood Center, which he attended regularly, as a much loved member of the community who was gentle, often misunderstood who had suffered real hardship in life but always had a big smile.

Another Facebook user wrote “So sad to hear of this news, he was a beautiful human and I feel blessed to have known him RIP SCOTT 💔”

Scott’ attacker remains in prison awaiting a second court appearance in February where he is expected to enter a plea.
