In the early hours of this morning, emergency services, including Pumper 208 and Fire and Rescue NSW Station 392 Muswellbrook, swiftly responded to a reported fire incident at the Muswellbrook Anytime Gym. Upon arrival, responders discovered a significant blaze engulfing the illuminated electrical sign situated at the building’s rear. Fortunately, the fire had not breached the roof area.
Authorities suspect that recent rainfall may have contributed to the ignition. This incident serves as a pertinent reminder for the public to inspect all outdoor electrical fixtures to ensure they are functioning properly.
