Emergency services received more than 400 calls for storm damage across NSW

Last night supercell storms across the greater Sydney area have brought down trees and power lines and caused flash flooding.

SES has received over 400 calls for assistance last and has worked through the night to get through all the jobs, some 200 jobs still remained at 12am this morning.

With the assistance of teams from multiple emergency agencies plus multiple SES teams from across the greater Sydney area, Wollongong and Blue Mountains, we are making steady progress through the 400+ jobs received as a result of the super cell that made its way across the shire on Monday. With over 200 outstanding jobs remaining our volunteers will continue to work into the night and be back out again tomorrow along with NSW Rural Fire Service Sutherland Shire brigades. A few pictures of the storm clean-up below.

All pictures come from the NSW SES Southerland Shire.
