It’s was a tiny town with only 25 houses until bushfires on new years eve engulfed the small town of Nerrigundah killing 1 man and destroying 20 of the 25 homes in town, it was a fire storm like no had ever seen before.
After losing around 75% of the town’s homes – the southern NSW town of Nerrigundah is now underwater.
Local resident Deborah Threlfall can see a silver lining, even though she says she is angry and sad – “it’s nice to have the ground washed”.
