Greta Fire Mop Up Begins.

Local fire crews have been working hard this afternoon and through the night to contain and mop up the fire at Greta with broke containment lines earlier.

The fire was upgraded to watch and act early this afternoon when the fire broke containment lines and burnt out another 10ha of bushland, fire crews and aircraft were quickly on the scene as residents nervously watched and waited.

A short time later the fire was brought under control and the mop crews begin blacking out the perimeter of the fire and will continue to moniter are over the coming days.
