Breaking News Update: Armed Robbery Strikes New Lambton
Authorities are currently investigating a harrowing armed robbery that occurred last night in New Lambton. At approximately 10:15 pm, law enforcement responded to distress calls from Domino’s on Regent Street, where reports indicated a robbery in progress.
According to eyewitnesses, a man barged into the establishment brandishing a firearm, threatening one of the employees, and demanding cash. Subsequently, the assailant absconded from the scene with an undisclosed sum of money.
Thankfully, the targeted 23-year-old male employee escaped physical harm during the ordeal.
Described as slender and standing between 170-180cm tall, the suspect was clad in a distinctive ensemble at the time of the incident: a black motorcycle helmet, white t-shirt layered over a black jumper, black pants, white sneakers with blue trim, black gloves, and he carried a brown bag.
