HUNTER COVID-19 COMMUNITY TRANSMISSIONS DOUBLE IN 24 HOURS

in the past 24 hours community transmission cases have doubled from 4 to 8 cases as a wave of new cases are diagnosed for the Hunter New England Health Region.

The lasted stats provided by Hunter New England are very vague with no additional information on where the cases are coming from. The lack of information is causing anxiety in the community.

On a positive note 1 case in Hunter has made full recovery and has been released from isolation.

As at 8pm, Sunday, 22 March 2020, an additional 17 cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed since our earlier update yesterday. This brings the total number of Hunter New England confirmed cases to 47.
