Hunter Police left horrified at drivers actions

A Hunter driver on Saturday racked up 24 demerit points on his imaginary license, police first noticed that driver was exceeding the speed limit and activated their lights sirens, police then oberserved a young girl attempting to put on her seat belt, the driver than pulled over and what they found next horrified the officers.

Police than approached the vehicle and discovered that 9-year-old girl in the middle was not wearing her seat belt, next to her in a booster seat was a 4-year-old boy also not wearing a seat belt and on the other side of the 9-year-old girl is a 4-month-old baby laying in a baby capsule unrestrained and the capsule was not anchored down.

The man was spoken to by police and produced an overseas licence, further inquiries were made and the man had applied for NSW licence but was refused because he had lost too many demerit points already.

The driver was issued with numerous infringement notices and incurred 24 demerit points and issued a court notice to attend Maitland court for driving without a licence.
