Joel says iconic the Cessnock pool needs an Upgrade

Joel says Cessnock residents are angry that funds for the regional projects were used to fund an upgrade at the North Sydney Swimming pool to the tune of 10 Million dollars

Cessnock pool is old and historical says Joel but is in need of an upgrade, he said Labor went to last election promising funds to upgrade the Cessnock only to lose election and the Morrison Government has not provided a single cent to upgrade Cessnock pool.

But it’s only fair to say that when Labor was last in Government they also neglected the aging pool, and Cessnock residents are feed up with both sides not providing anything for Cessnock

There have been at least 2 occasions this season the kids section of the pool has been closed this year due to damage and maintenance of the aging pool.

Maybe next time Cessnock may get some much-needed funds to upgrade the pool or even build a new one, but for now Cessnock will have to make do.
