Motorcyclist dies after colliding with a truck – Port Macquarie

A motorcyclist has died following a crash at Port Macquarie this morning.

Shortly after 8am (Wednesday 15 April 2020), emergency services were called to the intersection of Pacific Drive and Bangalay Road, Port Macquarie, following reports a motorcycle and truck had collided.

The male motorcyclist died at the scene.

The male truck driver was uninjured and taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital for mandatory testing.

An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is urged to come forward.

Pacific Drive was closed between Ocean Drive and Livingstone Road, has since reopened.
