Muswellbrook woman fails roadside breath test in Cobbitty.
About 12.20pm on Sunday the 29th of May 2022, Camden Highway Patrol officers intercepted a white Hyundai sedan travelling in a general southerly direction on The Northern Rd at Cobbitty after reports the vehicle was swerving from lane to lane and the driver appeared to have no control of the vehicle.
Police located and stopped the vehicle a short time later on The Northern Road. After speaking to the female driver, Police formed the opinion that the female driver was under the influence of alcohol. She was subjected to a roadside breath test and returned a roadside reading of 0.335. She was subsequently arrested and taken to Narellan Police Station. In the vehicle was another female adult and two children.
The female driver was subjected to a breath analysis and returned a reading of 0.279 and subsequently charged with driving with a high range prescribed concentration of alcohol. She is to appear before Muswellbrook Local Court in coming months.
