NSW FURTHER EASING OF RESTRICTIONS GYMS AND PLACES OF WORSHIP

Restrictions for religious gatherings and gyms will be eased under relaxed COVID-19 safety rules announced today.

From Friday 23 October:

Religious gatherings/places of worship (excluding weddings and funerals) can have up to 300 people, subject to a COVID-19 safety plan and attendees providing contact details. Singing at religious gatherings should still continue to be limited.


Gyms will only be required to have a COVID-19 safety marshal if there are more than 20 people in the gym at one time.

From December 1st

The number of people able to attend wedding will increase to up 300 people, subject to the four square metre rule indoors and the two square metre rule outdoors, from 1 December.
