On Tuesday morning (24th Jan) a house was broken into in Stockton and offenders have stolen car keys which they used to steal a vehicle.
On the 26th Jan the vehicle was seen in Verulam Rd, North Lambton and a male walked away from it.
Police Dog Xtra tracked the male to an address nearby.
The offender was located hiding in the roof cavity and the car key was located in the room below the manhole opening.
He was arrested and taken to Waratah Police Station. He was charged with be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner and bail refused
