Around 5:15pm yesterday Cessnock District Rescue Squad were called out to an unusual scence in Cessnock
On arrival they were confronted with a distressed cow who had managed to get stuck in mud created from yesterday storms
How the cow managed to get stuck is a mystery, but Cessnock District Rescue Squad used slings and other equipment to free the cow from the mud.
Once again the team at Cessnock District Rescue Squad have saved the day.
