We have just been informed that a student at Tomaree Public School has tested positive to Covid-19 and will be closed tomorrow for a deep clean.
As a precaution Tomaree High School will also be closed for a deep clean tomorrow all students will be working from home.
NSW Health has advised all students and parents who feel unwell to get tested fir Covid-19. NSW Health will also be conducting contact tracing of the child who has tested positive.
There are now 3 active cases in Port Stephens and we understand all 3 cases are linked to the 60 year old man who visited from Sydney.
NSW Health will give a more detailed update tomorrow on new cases.
