Is it just me or is social distancing and masks optional for the élite?

World leaders, celebrities and billionaires have all flown to Glasgow in their fancy private jets to participate in a forum on climate change. If this is not gaslighting, I don’t what is.

But I’m not here to talk about climate change or submarine deals the mainstream media has distracted enough with that garbage. What was more interesting was watching world leaders throw Covid-19 rules out the window.

Social distancing and mask wearing rule were all flouted by world leaders; handshakes and pats on the back have all returned. Meanwhile, others who seem to be working are forced to wear masks – why is that? Does the elite think they are above everyone else? Do they know something we don’t know? Is the mask really a symbol of modern day slavery?

This phenomenon is not just a prerogative of world leaders, remember a few months back when a group of foolish democrats from Texas boycotted a vote by fleeing the state to Washington DC? They were all vaccinated, so they thought it was safe to remove their masks on the plane. Guess what happened next? At least 6 of them caught Covid-19.

So the very people who make the rules for everyone else think it’s ok to break them. And whilst I personally don’t care that they aren’t wearing masks, the hypocrisy of those in power is what grinds my gears. We are adults and should be treated that way. Wear a mask if you want, don’t wear a mask… I don’t care. It’s time people took responsibility for their own health, we don’t need government mandates.

By the way, I don’t believe any democrats from that story ended up dying, but the point of this post is that the elite doesn’t seem to have to follow the same rules as the rest of us.

We are unable to travel while they can fly around in private jets, they put their masks up only when it suits them, social distancing gets thrown out the window… I wonder if they have shown a green pass to enter, but I doubt it very much.
