At 9.00pm on Saturday 22/2 police were called to a home in Brown Street Cessnock where a home-made incendiary device was thrown at the home’s water heater setting fire to the water heater and side of the home. Residents were able to extinguish the fire quickly before it spread.
Police investigations continue no arrests have been made as yet.
