Around 11:55am on Sunday the 26th of January, 2020 police spotted a stolen vehicle driving on Sparks Road, Woongarrah and activated their lights and sirens and much to the surprise of the officers the car pulls and stops.
Police have a little chat with the man and place him under arrest and execute a search of the vehicle.
Items found
- Large amount of stolen jewellery
- Stolen Number Plates
- 1 replica pistol
Further inquiries find that man is unlicensed.
The man was charged with
- Take conveyance without consent of owner.
- Drive whilst suspended fine default
Fail to notify change of address within 14 days. - Unlawfully possess number plate.
- Unlawfully possess unregistered firearm.
- Goods in custody suspected of being stolen.
The man was refused bail.
