Sometime on Thursday night / Friday morning (20/21st May), some less than desirable person(s) have broken into SES property and stolen emergency equipment including chainsaws, tool boxes, roof heights safety kits / bags and more.
This is extremely disappointing.
As many of our supporters and the wider community know, Port Stephens SES have been extremely busy spending thousands of hours in the last couple of months in flood and storm operations. We have now lost equipment essential for us to be able to respond to disasters in the area.
We really need your help and would appreciate you keeping an eye out for this stolen equipment and contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 if you have ANY information relating to the stolen equipment, or believe you have found it.
