TO DRUNK TO WALK, DONT TRY AND DRIVE – 0.229 HIGH RANGE

57 YEAR OLD MALE CHARGED HIGH RANGE PCA – CHARLESTOWN

Around 6pm Sunday 8 March quick thinking residents of Charlestown called police about a male slumped behind the wheel of a motor vehicle in the middle of the road in Jergi Close, Charlestown.

Police responded and breath tested the 57 year old male driver who have a positive reading to alcohol. The male allegedly made admissions to police about driving the vehicle.

The male was allegedly that affected by alcohol he was unable to stand and walk from his vehicle. he was arrested and to the Charlestown Police Station where a breath analysis gave the reading of 0,229 – the High Range PCA.

He was arrested with Drive High Range PCA and his licence was immediately suspended.
