16 female police officers share one toilet, two working out of the closest at a Hunter Police Station

Upper Hunter Candidate for labor Jeff Drayton has announced that labor will commit $17 million for upgrades of the Singleton Police Station.

According to Jeff Drayton there are 16 female police officers who have to share just 1 toilet. Two others officers are working out of the closest.

Jeff Drayton issued the following statement on his Facebook page today.

“Today, Labor is committing $17 million for Singleton Police Station upgrades. “

“If the Singleton Police Station was on Sydney’s North Shore, it would have been fixed by now. Instead, there are 16 female police officers sharing one toilet – and two officers working in a closet.”

“Under the Nationals, Singleton residents just aren’t getting their fair share. “

“I’m fighting to change that.”
