At approximately 1205 this afternoon emergency services were called to a persons trapped in a motor vehicle collision at Quorrobolong. The impact of the collision caused one car to flip onto its roof, the driver and passengers of this vehicle were able to self extract from the vehicle. One person was trapped by confinement inside the second vehicle. Once the vehicle was stabilized, Cessnock Rescue Squad used their battery powered hydraulic cutters and spreaders to remove the drivers door to allow for greater access to extricate the casualty.
