Thornton Public School has advised parents and students that the school will be closed for day 1 for students returning after a positive case had detected at the school last week.
Kindy and Year One returned to school last week under the re-opening roadmap with everyone else to return to school tomorrow. Unfortunately for these students who have been eager to return will have another day.
All students and staff on site last week have been told get tested and isolate until the contact tracing has been completed by NSW Health.
