A man is undergoing treatment after he was shot in the leg in the Lake Macquarie region overnight. Emergency services were called to a carpark in Arnott Street, Edgeworth, about 9.10pm yesterday (Friday 8 April 2022), responding to reports of a public-place shooting. NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 27-year-old man at the scene for a gunshot wound to the right leg. He was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
