
NSW Police declare a critical incident after a vehicle slams into a tree attempting to evade police – North Shore
A critical incident investigation has been declared following a single-vehicle crash on Sydney’s north shore this afternoon. About 4.40pm (Sunday 13 November 2022), emergency services were called to West Street, Cammeray, following reports a vehicle had left the roadway and crashed into a tree. Police had initiated and then terminated a pursuit involving the vehicle shortly before the crash. The driver and four passengers were assisted from the vehicle – which had caught alight – and were treated at the scene by officers prior to the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics.
