Emergency services were called to a tip fire at the East Maitland Waste Facility around 5pm this afternoon.
Crews are continuing to work on controlling a fire burning at the Mount Vincent Road Waste Management Centre, East Maitland.
Smoke from the fire is visible from the surrounding area and is impacting the Maitland area. Please only report unattended fires to Triple Zero (000).
