A man has been charged following investigations into an alleged deliberately-lit house fire in Muswellbrook. About 4am on Sunday 6 November 2022, emergency services were called to Tamar Way, Muswellbrook, following reports of a house fire. The residents extinguished the fire with the assistance of a neighbour, with one resident sustaining minor burns to their shoulder and back.Strike Force Conferta was formed by officers attached to Hunter Valley Police District to investigate the fire, which is alleged to have been deliberately lit.
