On August 4, 2023, at approximately 2:00 PM, emergency services responded to a car collision between two vehicles in Whittingham, New South Wales. The responding units included Singleton Fire & Rescue, Singleton Police, Singleton Ambulance, Roads and Maritime Services (RMS), and multiple Rural Fire Service (RFS) units.

Upon arrival, the emergency services found both vehicles still on the road, blocking traffic, but there were no individuals trapped inside. Singleton Fire & Rescue firefighters provided assistance with casualty care, fire protection, and cleanup.
Two males involved in the accident were transported to a nearby medical facility via road ambulance for further evaluation and treatment. The efforts of all emergency services involved in handling the incident were commendable. The photo credit for the incident goes to NSW Fire and Rescue Singleton.
