A man will appear in court today, charged following an investigation into a shooting in the Lake Macquarie area last week. About 2.20am on Thursday (21 September 2023), emergency services were called to Cassia Crescent in Gateshead, following reports of shots fired. Officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District arrived to find a 42-year-old man and 32-year-old woman suffering gunshot wounds.
