Hamilton South, NSW – A high-speed police chase through the Newcastle area culminated in a dramatic car fire and the arrest of a man and woman on Thursday, December 7th, 2023. Just after 10:30 AM, officers attempted to stop a white SUV on Fowler Street in Hamilton South. Allegedly, the vehicle refused to stop, prompting a high-speed pursuit.
