In a harrowing incident at Burwood Beach on Friday afternoon, two teenagers were swiftly transported to the hospital following a near-drowning. Emergency services, responding to a distress call around 4 o’clock, raced to the scene near Glenrock Lagoon off Scout Camp Road.
Lifeguards heroically pulled the distressed teens, believed to be in their late teens, from the water. NSW Ambulance teams promptly provided medical attention before transferring them to John Hunter Hospital.
