The gun-toting, meat-loving persona of the Hunter MP Dan Repacholli has sparked widespread astonishment after being photographed consuming a vegan burger. Known for his staunch advocacy of meat consumption and firearms rights, Repacholli’s deviation from his usual dietary preferences has left many questioning his political trajectory.
The incident unfolded when Repacholli was seen dining at Hashtag Burgers & Waffles alongside Jonty Bush, Member for Cooper, who reportedly influenced his decision to try the plant-based Kevin Fakin burger. Despite initial skepticism, Repacholli publicly acknowledged the taste of the vegan alternative, stating, “Not bad.” However, he swiftly mitigated any potential backlash by washing it down with a traditional meat-based option, the Get Litt burger, to “get the taste out of [his] mouth.”
Taking to Facebook to address the unexpected turn of events, Repacholli admitted to the persuasion tactics employed by Bush and the team at Hashtag Burgers and Waffles, but affirmed his steadfast commitment to his carnivorous lifestyle, asserting, “it’s not going to happen.”
