A man’s body has been discovered following a house fire on the Central Coast early today. Emergency services were called to Mercator Parade, St Huberts Island, at around 5:40 AM after reports of a house fire. Officers from Brisbane Water Police and Fire and Rescue NSW firefighters responded to find the property engulfed in flames. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and, upon searching the home, found the body of a man believed to be in his 40s, although formal identification is pending.
