
News Update: Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with SUV in Hunter Region
Stroud, NSW – A tragic accident claimed the life of a motorcyclist early Thursday morning in the Hunter region, approximately 85 kilometers north of Newcastle. Emergency services were called to Booral Washpool Road at Stroud just before 7:00 AM (Thursday, 5 September 2024) after reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a silver Holden Captiva SUV. Police from the Port Stephens-Hunter Police District arrived on the scene and were informed that the crash involved a northbound motorcyclist and a southbound vehicle.
