
Two Alleged Associates of Alameddine Charged for Drug Supply to Cessnock Prison
Detectives from the Criminal Groups Squad have charged two inmates in connection with the alleged supply of drugs to a correctional facility in the Hunter region. The investigation, initiated in April 2023, focused on the use of “dial-a-dealer” phones for drug distribution across Sydney. During the probe, law enforcement uncovered a criminal syndicate operating within the Cessnock correctional centre. To date, six individuals—four men and two women—have been charged in relation to this criminal network, all of whom remain before the courts.
