A police officer has been charged in connection with an alleged wounding incident during an arrest on the Mid North Coast last year. On 21 June 2023, around 4 p.m., officers arrested a 17-year-old boy near the intersection of Vernon and Duke Street in Coffs Harbour over an outstanding warrant. The case involving the teenager was subsequently addressed in a Children’s Court.
