Man Charged Over Alleged Carjacking with Child Inside in Coffs Harbour

A man has been charged following an alleged carjacking in Coffs Harbour yesterday, during which a child was inside the vehicle. At approximately 5 p.m. on Saturday, 18 January 2025, police were called to Tiffany Close after reports of a car being stolen. According to police, a 32-year-old man allegedly took a sedan with a child inside, striking a 22-year-old woman in the process as she tried to intervene. The woman sustained minor injuries.
