
Desperate Search Underway for Driver Swept Away in NSW Floodwaters
A frantic search is underway after a driver was swept away in raging floodwaters on the NSW North Coast. Emergency crews rushed to Wild Cattle Creek Bridge, near Dorrigo, around 2:20 PM today (Friday, March 7, 2025), after reports a 4WD had been washed off the bridge while attempting to cross. The male driver managed to escape the vehicle and cling to a tree branch, desperately holding on about 30 meters from the riverbank.
