EDGEWORTH – Tuesday, 5 August 2025 | MHV News A 14-year-old Chinese exchange student has died after being stabbed inside a host family home in Edgeworth, with another 13-year-old exchange student now in custody. Emergency services were called to Euston Close just after 10.20pm on Monday night following reports of a stabbing. When officers from Lake Macquarie Police District arrived, they found the teenager with a stab wound to her torso.
