Second McDonald’s Opens in Cessnock
Cessnock has officially welcomed its second McDonald’s, with the new Vincent Street restaurant opening its doors today.
Local MP Dan Repacholi marked the occasion, describing it as a big morning for the town and highlighting the employment opportunities the new store brings to the area.
While acknowledging that McDonald’s isn’t everyone’s preference, Repacholi said the real positive lies in the jobs being created for young locals, many of whom are getting their first opportunity to enter the workforce, build skills and gain confidence.
He encouraged residents who do enjoy McDonald’s to drop in, grab a meal and support the local team as they begin their first day of trade.
