A dramatic rescue unfolded in the Hunter Valley on Sunday afternoon after a glider accident in Ravensworth. Around 4:30pm, NSW Ambulance tasked a Westpac Rescue Helicopter to the scene following reports of a man in his 60s being injured during the incident. Emergency crews rushed to the site, where the helicopter’s critical care medical team provided urgent treatment on scene. After stabilising the man, he was carefully airlifted to John Hunter Hospital for further medical care.
