Hells Angels member charged over alleged false ADF claims
A member of the Hells Angels OMCG has been charged after allegedly impersonating a former soldier, following an investigation by the NSW Police Force Raptor Squad.
The charge comes under Strike Force Benson, which was established in August 2025 by State Crime Command to investigate ongoing criminal activity linked to the outlaw motorcycle gang.
Police allege the 41-year-old man falsely claimed to be a former member of the Australian Defence Force. Detectives, working alongside the ADF, conducted checks and found no record of the man serving in any branch of the military.
About 3.40pm on Tuesday 21 April 2026, officers arrested the man in Peelwood. He was taken to Goulburn Police Station and charged with falsely representing himself as a returned soldier, sailor or airman.
The man was granted conditional bail and is due to appear before Goulburn Local Court today, Wednesday 29 April 2026.
Investigations under Strike Force Benson remain ongoing.
