A lucky escape for a driver on the M1 motorway today at Bushells Ridge. About 3:45pm yesterday afternoon crews from Tuggerah and Warnervale Brigades along with FRNSW responded to a motor vehicle collision in the northbound lanes of the motorway. A vehicle towing a large trailer jackknifed and rolled which in turn caused a large piece of metal debris to puncture the full fuel tank. All lanes were closed while crews worked to make the area safe and remove the risk of an explosion whilst the vehicles were recovered. The driver escaped without injury....
