Police are appealing for assistance after the armed robbery of a service station at Lake Macquarie early this morning. About 5am (Sunday 12 July 2020), three people – two men and a woman – entered a service station on Wyee Road, Wyee, before the woman ran from store. The two men, armed with knives, threatened the 26-year-old male attendant, demanding cash. The pair fled with cash and cigarettes and were last seen running towards a laneway off Munmorah Street....
